Aap Sarve Ne Nutan Varsh 2014 Ni Khub Vadhai

As announced last sunday we are kick starting our new year with Shodash Granth Paath ane Parichay.

In our pushtimarg “Shodash Granth” has been given tremendous importance. What exactly is ‘Shodash Granth’?
In Sanskrit ‘Shodash” means 16. “Shodash Granth” means a compitation of 16 scriptures (granths).

Who has written “Shodash Granth” ?
Our Gurudev, Shri Mahaprabhuji, who established Pushtimarg, has written “Shodash Granth”.

Why did Shri Mahaprabhuji write these granths?
When you do not understand something, you ask your teacher in school, who in turn explains the answer to you. Similarly, during Shri Mahaprabhuji’s time, many Vaishnavs were confused about certain subject-topics. They had questioned Shri Mahaprabhuji about their conflicting doubts. To clear their doubts and confusion, he had written these granths.

He had explicated every granth to those Vaishnavs.
